Hunting the Demon King

When Sylvia recovered her memories of transmigrating into a book, she'd just pinned the Demon King, one of the male leads in an otome game, against a wall.

She'd ticked every box: pinning him to the wall, pinching his cheek, threatening him, and sucking his blood.

·

"Don't ask. I was young and foolish, and my face fetish made me fall for the best-looking Demon King in the whole game."

"The more brazenly I pinned him to the wall back then, the more I regret it now."

·

While Sylvia was questioning her life choices, the plot began to unfold. She watched without expression as the Demon King was reincarnated, just as in the original story, as her stepsister's little brother.

In the game, Sylvia was an arrogant vampire princess who loved breaking up couples and throwing tantrums. Unaware that her mixed-blood younger brother was the Demon King's reincarnation, she did whatever she pleased, hung him up in the sun, and tortured the heroine when she begged for mercy. In the end, she was shot with a silver spear beneath the blazing sun.

·

"Sylvia, are you still going to hunt the Demon King and his reincarnation?"

The witch, who had witnessed Sylvia's bloodsucking exploits, smiled as she asked.

Faced with the original story's grisly ending, Sylvia hesitated a little.

But when she looked at the Demon King's reincarnation, whose face hadn't changed at all...

"Maybe... I'll try again?"

She still had the nerve.
