In Year 322 of the Dawn Era, Liu Nian, a soldier on an expedition team, went out to search for supplies. Abandoned by his teammates, he died in a raging fire.
In Year 323 of the Dawn Era, Liu Nian returned from the dead and gave birth to a son.
From then on, Liu Nian wandered outside the safe zone with his son, Liu Xiaogou, struggling to get by.
