My other novel, Wang Sui, is now available. If you’re interested, feel free to add it to your collection!
Ning Zhi thought she was born to live carefully within the walls of the palace, protecting her younger brother until the day she came of age, when she would marry a man she barely knew and spend the rest of her life in another secluded courtyard.
Then one day, she woke up to find herself in someone else’s body, living a life completely different from the one she had known.
Only then did she realize that life could be so complete when lived another way.
Wen Ting grew up in a loving family, doted on since childhood. Even after bandits ransacked her home, leaving her destitute and forcing her to live in a brothel, her maid Yunduan continued to care for her devotedly. She thought all family members were like that, supporting and helping one another.
Then one day, she lost her footing and fell into a lake. When she woke up, she found herself in someone else’s body, living a life completely different from the one she had known.
Only then did she realize that the people who hurt you most are often those closest to you.
Reader’s Guide:
1. This story has two female leads who switch souls. Their lives take different turns, and neither of them steals the other’s life.
2. This is a serious historical drama. The author will do their best to consult reference materials and avoid overly casual language.
3. One-on-one romance, but neither lead is a virgin.
Blurb for Wang Sui (Both Reborn):
Three years after her younger brother ascended the throne, Jiang Wansui, eldest princess of Daye, was granted in marriage to Jing Shi, the Nine-Thousand-Year-Old who truly held power in Daye.
People loved to gossip that a eunuch who could marry a beloved princess was lucky enough to have it all. At that point, even spending the rest of his life without an heir was worth it.
On their wedding night, Jiang Wansui and Jing Shi perished together in a sea of flames.
In his final moments, Jing Shi was finally able to call her "Suishui" once more. Stroking Jing Shi’s cold face, Jiang Wansui murmured, "Brother Awang."
The dead should have faded like a lamp going out, but Jiang Wansui was reborn at thirteen, carrying regrets she had never been able to voice.
That spring, she was still Daye’s most beloved Princess Anping, and Jing Shi had yet to become the Nine-Thousand-Year-Old.
The young man was radiant and handsome, warm and graceful. As he rode past the teahouse below, Jiang Wansui stared at him, spellbound.
Suddenly, she remembered that even by the time they died, the two of them had never truly been together.
Like a fluttering butterfly, she settled neatly into Jing Shi’s arms and wrapped hers around the young man’s neck, smiling sweetly. "Brother Awang, will you take me home?"
His eyes were alight with warmth, and the arm around her waist was scorching. "I’d be honored, Suishui."
Time passed, circumstances changed, and at last Suishui was reunited with her Brother Awang.
Theme: Sometimes, taking a different path in life can lead to a happy ending.
Ning Ye is self-righteous, this country belongs to your Ning family. Do you have anything to do with following Jin? Just resign if you don't want to do it. Why should you help them?
Since there are two heroines, why not write the ending of Wen Ting?
The first part is really exciting, but the second part doesn't feel right. Also, why don't we write Wen Ting's ending?
They kissed casually like this. What if I change it back? Wouldn't the other protagonist suffer?
Ning used Wen's body to be intimate with Xue, will he switch back in the future? In this case, wouldn't the other person suffer?
Wow, I love the original ending.
Very well written! Looking forward to it, bookmark the author! Thanks for free
After all, this is another person's body and she didn't mess with it, right?
It's actually quite sad. People who are as close as sisters can't tell that they have been replaced, although the explanation here is that it is due to IQ ()
Congratulations on the completion! See you in the next one!
