Zhuang Yan lost his memory, but he still remembered that He Qinyao was his creditor. So he acted meek and conscientious, paying back his debt and keeping He Qinyao satisfied. If He Qinyao was satisfied, then so was he.

Zhuang Yan recovered half his memories. Only then did he remember that He Qinyao was his boyfriend. He thought about it, took a deep breath, and decided to let it go. What were they going to do, break up? Everyone had loved a few jerks in their life.

Later, Zhuang Yan remembered everything. He suddenly realized that He Qinyao didn't just dislike him; he was his enemy.

He Qinyao: Want to date? The kind where I'm your enemy?

Zhuang Yan: No. Get lost.

When He Qinyao heard that Zhuang Yan had lost his memory, he remembered he was Zhuang Yan's creditor and went to collect the debt. Zhuang Yan was beautiful, gentle, and good-natured, so He Qinyao was quite pleased.

When He Qinyao heard that Zhuang Yan had recovered half his memories, he started dating him. Love makes you stupid, and he kept testing his luck at the edge of disaster.

When he heard that Zhuang Yan remembered everything and told him to get lost, He Qinyao began his humble four-part plea: Don't let go. Turn around. Don't leave. I'll be miserable.

He Qinyao had never thought he liked Zhuang Yan all that much. Not until he let go of his pride, acted shamelessly, threw himself at him, and humbled himself into the dirt. Then he finally understood... He understood how it had felt for Zhuang Yan to pursue him wholeheartedly, expecting nothing in return.
