We've Locked This Couple In

Yu Xingchuan, nicknamed Yu the Roaster, is a well-known all-around music producer in the entertainment industry, as famous as a top-tier singer. In the online game Swordsman, he takes on a master.

The other guy is chatty, ridiculous, and gay.

"Lil apprentice~ Come a little closer!"

"Sure, I'll tank the damage :)"

"No, I just want to be a little closer to you~"

Then one day, his master tells him he's joining a talent show called Shining Star Boys.

Yu Xingchuan, who has just been invited to serve as a mentor, laughs. "Right."

Tsk, why does that aloof guy on stage have the same name as his ridiculous master?

Zhong Nanyan is good-looking and sings well, but he looks too aloof. One day, he takes on an apprentice in Swordsman.

The apprentice isn't at all soft and adorable like an apprentice should be. He's so unconventional and refreshingly genuine that Zhong Nanyan can't help teasing him.

Then one day, he joins a talent show, dreaming of becoming wildly famous.

That sharp-tongued, sarcastic mentor is my apprentice? No way!

Fans: This ship is perfect! It's official! I'm obsessed!

Friendly reminder: Yu Xingchuan is the top and Zhong Nan is the bottom, so don't get them mixed up (though this isn't a top-centric story).

"The male leads are all nonhuman" "The story starts in an online game, then moves to the entertainment industry" "The entertainment industry is fictional" "The setting is imaginary" "It's all made up, so don't associate it with real people" *Part of the We Don't Ship This Couple series. You can read this without having read the previous story (the main characters are different anyway).*
