This is the story of the second book in The Divine Brush Enters Dreams! New readers can check out the first book before starting this one!
According to the legend of Ma Liang and the Magic Brush, anything Ma Liang painted with his divine brush could become real. But what if, one day, you found a divine brush and discovered that anything you wrote with it came true?
Ever since he found the brush, every time he dreams, he experiences the plots of the novels he has written.
He can be a villainous priest in a small town, hiding a secret for years; a rookie hunter who leaps around and invades places in his dreams; an evil anomalous entity who raises and founds a containment organization; or a cool-headed, highly intelligent scientist with intermittent amnesia...
Every time he enters a dream, he gets a new secret identity. He watches as people interact with him in different ways, never knowing that he is the one and only mastermind, the real big shot, the man controlling the fate of billions of people and their world from behind the scenes.
Other people dream as if they're watching a movie that ends when they wake up. His dreams are like playing multiple villains in a TV series all by himself, with a daily shift he has to clock in for. As more and more people read his novels, his dream worlds become increasingly realistic and coherent, shifting from the choppy flashbacks of a TV show with a bad signal.
As if... they had truly come to life.
Reader's Guide
1. The protagonist transmigrates into one of his own stories in every dream, and can become a villain from one of his novels. No CP. First-person narration.
2. Updates between 23:00 and 00:00, about 3,000 to 4,000 characters each time. There are currently around 100,000 characters in the backlog. If the story updates outside the stated time, it's only because the author is doing routine bug fixes.
3. His golden finger is the divine brush. The protagonist can also bring things out of his dreams, design his own dream worlds like in Inception, and even invade other people's dreams. This is a leveling-up story.
