I haven't liked that sort of thing since I was a child... Dolls were originally funeral goods, used as substitutes for people, turning people into dolls. But what exactly is a doll? It has a humanlike appearance. Calling it a plaything rather than a playmate would be more accurate, yet it is given a humanlike form... Assigning feelings to a plaything on your own is hard to understand. But if they really do possess something like a soul, wouldn't that make their existence like hell? These rambling thoughts come from the author's fear of human-shaped things, so don't take them too seriously. It's not a particularly interesting little story.
(The yuri tag is because the characters are all young women, more or less, and the explanation of mutual attack here is something like doting on each other, haha.)
