[Crossover] The Lock of Peace

(There may be a lot of OOC and plenty of personal headcanons, so proceed with caution if that's not your thing.)

You are a clasp forged at the very beginning of the Heian-kyo era.

Back then, the famous Abe no Seimei of the modern age had not yet been born.

Yet for some reason, you were never used.

And so, over time, you became a tsukumogami.

A tsukumogami is neither quite a yokai nor truly a god.

Before onmyoji even existed, your ageless appearance led people to worship you as a deity.

Every place you stopped was called a divine miracle.

But at some point, the onmyoji came into being, and once people learned of yokai, they began to suspect that you were one, not a god.

After you were attacked by a wisp of black mist whose origins were unknown, you went on a rampage. By the time you escaped its influence, your reputation as a yokai had already been established.

Sealed by the onmyoji, you sank into a deep sleep.

When you wake again, the story begins.
