Please check out my new story, The Mute Empress!
Synopsis: Wen Shuchan has been reborn five times. Her death in each of the first four lives was connected to the same man.
In her first life, her husband, a great general renowned across the land, failed in his rebellion, and she was executed along with him.
In her second and third lives, she fought desperately to escape an arranged marriage, but both times she died on the run.
In her fourth life, she not only obediently married him, but also found him while he was still young. With her careful guidance, the boy gave up martial arts and took up literature. Surely now she could live happily ever after?
But later, this stubborn man, now a chancellor, still hadn't forgotten his original ambition.
He rebelled again and again, and the result was only too obvious.
In this life, reborn as a baby, she resolves to devour books and master martial arts. Every time she sees that man, she'll beat him up!
That'll teach you not to listen, and not to think about rebelling. Just behave yourself!
She'll crush that man's arrogant spirit and change him from the roots up!
Later...
Wen Shuchan: "Husband, how about I help you rebel?"
Mo Chenyao: "Rebel? Have you gone mad, wife...?"
Reading Guide
- Each time the heroine is reborn, she becomes five years younger.
- There is a reason the male lead is so fixated on rebellion.
- This is a fictional setting. Please don't nitpick the historical details.

Synopsis for The Mute Empress:
Li Xiaohan is the only son of the Grand Princess and the Marquis of Yong'an. He is also the youngest-ever Minister of the Court of Judicial Review in Great Qi. Proper and reserved, aloof and noble, he is the object of admiration for countless young noblewomen.
Unfortunately, he has no interest in romance.
To him, such things are nothing but a waste of time.
But after he is drugged with an aphrodisiac and, in his loss of control, forces himself on a pitiful little mute, he goes mad.
By day, he is impeccably dressed. But in his dreams at night, he becomes a beast, devouring the little mute in a frenzy.
It's a condition caused by the aphrodisiac, something he needn't concern himself with. The little mute is only a lowly servant. When he's in a good mood one day, he'll send her away...
Lin Yueya hopes that day will come soon. She's piled up box after box of embroidery, and once she's free, she'll support herself.
But she waits and waits, and all she gets are lies, time and again.
The year draws to a close, and snow fills the sky.
Lin Yueya kneels before Li Xiaohan, her bright eyes veiled with tears. She signs to him: A gentleman's word is as good as gold. You promised to let me go.
Li Xiaohan lowers his eyes and strokes her cold cheek, replying icily, "Yueya, I've never been a gentleman with you."
Fine. If that's how it is, she won't wait any longer.
If she wants to escape from a madman, she'll have to become even madder.

Theme:
What the hell is this? It's obviously glass slag.
Wanqing: I am now Niu Kulu Zhen Huan
Sister Wan is a really great heroine
I predicted that sister Wanqing would give birth to a prince, and then the male protagonist would rebel and successfully support the young prince to ascend to the throne. The sister would successfully become the queen mother, and everyone would end up with Meimei.
It's very beautiful, but why is the ending so sad...
I don't know why the male protagonist becomes more and more annoying as I watch it. From the one-sided misunderstanding at the beginning to the fact that the female protagonist and he have not yet determined their relationship, he has been actively manipulating the female protagonist and concealing and deceiving sympathy in various ways. It feels disgusting. I originally thought it was a character flaw of the male protagonist, but thinking that he will always grow and change, I continued to read it, but obviously there is no big progress. See you soon. Although I bought a few chapters later, I don't plan to read it anymore.
The heroine is too frustrated. What's the point of learning this martial arts?
Big cheers to the author (???_??)?
