Righting Wrongs in Ancient Times

Wei Ruoshui was slapped straight into an ancient prison. Her original self had killed the Crown Princess and was due to be executed in the fall.

She had already decided to give up, but then her newly acquired Yin-Yang Eyes told her there was more to the case.

She took charge of three prisons, punished cruel jailers, and cleared wrongful convictions, making a great success of herself in the ancient prison.

Minister of the Court of Judicial Review: "Could you please do us a favor and come out of prison first?"

The chancellor offered her a fortune to come work for him, and the general cried and begged her to become his goddaughter.

And yet...

Wei Ruoshui: "I think I've gotten quite comfortable staying in prison. I don't think I'll move."

The female lead is a cold, emotionally slow modern woman. Expect her to crush all opposition.

The male lead is excellent at reading people, a puppy-like wolf who can turn on the charm and change his expression in an instant. (The male lead is the pure-hearted Minister of the Court of Judicial Review, ruthless to others and even harsher on himself, but shy around the female lead.)

A silly, cheerful story with an intentionally out-of-character ancient style. If it's not your cup of tea, don't read it. I'll hide under a pot lid where no one can hit me, bleh bleh bleh.

Theme: Lawbreakers cannot escape justice.
