Gu Xi, an ancient master of metaphysics, wakes up one day to find that she's become a junior police officer in the twenty-first century.
Her mastery of metaphysics had already reached its peak. Powerful officials and wealthy tycoons offered her fortunes, all hoping to persuade her to come out of seclusion. Now, though, she's a somewhat introverted policewoman.
Sigh... She could read people's fortunes and calculate the past and present, but she never expected something like this to happen to her.
Everyone at the Qixia Road police station watches the timid little wallflower they knew undergo a complete transformation after just one day away.
She wears a form-fitting qipao with graceful elegance, but then she'll pull out a yellow talisman and stick it to someone's forehead, or suddenly take up a wooden sword and fly into the air. Everyone stares, speechless and wide-eyed.
What's happening to this world?
Waaah... I'm so scared. What do I do?
