The Vampire Beauty Builds a Base and Raises Kids in the Apocalypse

As the only vampire left in a thousand years, Adrian lives alone in a castle deep in the mountains.

When zombies erupted across the human world and misery spread everywhere, he leveled a mountain and used enormous stones to build a wall ten zhang high around his castle, protecting his home...

Standing atop the newly completed ramparts, he looked down at his handiwork with satisfaction. Just then, a woman and a child pursued by a vast horde of zombies came into view.

He didn't want to meddle in human affairs, but in the end he saved the boy. Because he hadn't saved the boy's mother, who had already been infected, the human boy came to hate him.

Adrian brought Cheng Lin into the castle and forced him to become his little slave...

Ten years passed, and Cheng Lin, now strong enough to spread his wings, escaped from the castle.

Three years later, he returned with his surviving father and brother and a group of humans. Adrian's ancient castle was probably the last sanctuary left in the world. There was no better refuge, and they wanted to take it over.

Caught off guard, Adrian drank zombie blood given to him by Cheng Lin's family. He lost the ability to move and fell from the ramparts.

Cheng Lin stood atop the wall and watched his body quickly disappear beneath the zombie horde. He went mad...
