House Guardian

The Wen family's founding ancestor was skilled at protecting people's homes and warding off calamity single-handedly. After driving away the misfortune, she would take one thing from that family's home. After generations of this, the Wen family became one of the wealthiest clans around. The Wen residence's teahouse was sealed, and the patriarch had gone missing. Wen Ye, a spoiled rich kid who had grown up in Canada, had no choice but to return when summoned. The pixiu charm he had worn since childhood mysteriously vanished. The bronze pixiu his father had gone to great lengths to take away mysteriously appeared. Ten ancient bronze mythical beasts from the pre-Qin era reappeared one by one. Wen Ye couldn't unravel their secrets. But he unexpectedly discovered that wherever he went, someone died. And he could see ghosts with his own eyes! Until a mysterious man appeared. Uncle Tao Li: Have you noticed that ever since Xiao Fu came, the Wen family's business has picked up again? They're making money hand over fist! Biaozi: Damn, that pretty boy may look the part, but he's stronger than me. Even ghosts are scared of him. Aunt Ruyi: Xiao Fu sure eats a lot, huh? He eats as much as our whole family, and always picks the expensive dishes. Yue Nian: Haven't you noticed that Brother Fu Xiu never goes to the bathroom? Wen Ye: I don't care what he is. The important thing is that I can only stop seeing ghosts and sleep soundly till dawn when I hold him in my arms. Fu Xiu: Are you sure you only like holding me while you sleep because I can ward off evil? To escape the family curse and find the owners of the mythical beasts, they brave every obstacle, slay demons and monsters, and make a fortune along the way. This is entirely fictional.
