Before deciding to enter the entertainment industry, Fu Nianxi did two things.

1. She confessed to Zhou Jinshen and gave him her first kiss.

2. She changed her name to Fu Xi, and from then on kept her hair short and wore suits, looking every bit the tomboy.

When Fu Xi was nominated for Best Actress for a cross-dressing role, Zhou Jinshen, heir to a wealthy and powerful family, was sipping tea at a bar. His childhood friend handed him a phone and asked excitedly:

"Is this person Fu Nianxi?"

Zhou Jinshen didn't even look up. "Who?"

His friend grew impatient. "Ah Xi! The little lamb who forced a kiss on you back then!"

Zhou Jinshen shot a cold glance at the screen. The short-haired woman wore trousers and a shirt with the sleeves rolled halfway up, looking bright and handsome among the crowd and a forest of cameras...

She looked exactly the way he hated.

"No," he said calmly.

Fu Xi's acting is questioned online. People mock her for only playing cross-dressing roles, calling her a tomboy both on and off screen. Her career prospects get narrower and narrower, and no one takes an interest in her romantically.

For a long time, Fu Xi really was like that, and she vanished from the public eye.

Until one day, a short video surfaced:

Beside an off-road vehicle, Fu Xi sits on the ground, leaning against a tire. The usually aloof and elegant Zhou Jinshen kneels before her. "Ah Xi, I was wrong. Please come back."
