I Will Let Down Neither the Buddha Nor You

Thousands of years ago, the human realm, demon realm, and immortal realm lived in harmony, each leaving the others in peace. All was tranquil under heaven.

But the youngest disciple of the Buddha in the Western Paradise somehow committed an unknown offense and was banished to the mortal world. He arrived at Yuquan Temple in the west, changed his religious name to Yun Xu, and had a cinnabar mark placed between his brows. All his memories of his past life were sealed.

For the next several hundred years, the immortal realm above and the demon realm below debated the matter. Meanwhile, the Demon Queen gave birth to the seventh prince, Yin Chi, who would one day become the Demon King. On that day, heaven and earth changed color, as though everything were about to be destroyed. Even the Buddha declared, "When Yin Chi is born, heaven and earth will change."
