My first novel, written for practice. Terrible writing, and I won't put it behind a paywall!
After watching Avengers: Endgame, I felt like my heart had been stabbed. I wanted to give them a happy ending, so this story came about. Its working title is Love You Three Thousand Times a Day.
Here's a little scene:
As an outstanding graduate of the Sna Academy, Ophelia gives a textbook fake smile as she looks at the Mark 3 armor Tony is showing off to her.
“Oh, I have to say, it's really perfect. But, Tony, don't you think the color scheme is a little too flashy?”
“Hey! Sweetheart, I'm a Stark, you know. I shine brightly every second of every day!”
Tony proudly raises his arms and lifts his chin, as though a dazzling halo shines behind him.
“Okay, you're the boss. You call the shots.” Ophelia shrugs and turns away, deciding to stop looking at that dreadful color scheme.
“Hey! What's with that look? This is a classic vintage car color scheme. It's absolutely perfect!” Little Stark pouts in displeasure.
“Mm, yes, very good. It's the most perfect thing in the world.” Ophelia says perfunctorily, then hurries away, ignoring the shouts of the angry little boy behind her.
No need to say who the pairing is: our beloved Tony Stark! The timeline is a mess, so please don't take the continuity too seriously, canon buffs.
I really think the mutual redemption mentioned in yesterday's reply is absolutely correct.
