Too-Sweet Candy Is Not for Eating

(Revised and reopened to fill in the story, by the blurb-rewriting maniac) Originally titled Please Let Him Be Beautiful on His Own, also known as Sugar with a Poisonous Core. Han Shu knows he's a comic-book character, and he also knows that he woke up one day in a different comic-book world. This unscientific world is full of handsome men and has no beautiful women. Everyone is dedicated to falling in love and getting together with another guy. In this world where you die if you don't get together with a guy, Han Shu makes the unusual choice to be beautiful on his own. His unrelated-by-blood younger brother falls for him: Oh. His childhood friend and close buddy falls for him: Oh. The tyrannical school bully falls for him: Oh. His gentle, scheming homeroom teacher falls for him: Oh. People who pour their hearts out and expect something in return are like children begging for candy. If they don't get any, they'll throw a tantrum. Once they do, they'll only get worse, demanding more and more. When it comes to the men in this world, they turn evil if you won't date them, and even if you do, they'll turn evil if you try to break up with them. Han Shu's response? Put. Poison. In. The. Candy. ◎ A wish-fulfillment story with a universally adored protagonist. ◎ Set in a fictional school. Don't read this expecting painstaking research. You may think the setting is Japan, but it's actually a parallel-world version of Japan. In short, I reserve the right to have any part of the setting contain errors. ◎ No romantic pairing for the protagonist. All pairings are assumed to have the protagonist as the top. ◎ He's supposed to be a scheming character with narrow, smiling eyes, but he's actually soft, harmless, innocent, and adorable. Premise: There isn't one, dear.
