The Little Prince Sent as a Bride

Dage was a little prince sent away to marry for political reasons. Though he had grown up on the grasslands and in the Gobi Desert, he was as delicate and pretty as a porcelain doll. Everyone said the little prince would suffer after the marriage. His tribe was weak, while the country he was being sent to was a great power. Who would respect a prince from such a remote, impoverished place? Sure enough, everyone who saw Dage along the journey to his new home couldn't resist "bullying" him a little. The little prince was simply too beautiful. People couldn't help wanting to touch, hug, and kiss him. The little prince was frightened, tense, and shy, like a pretty doll anyone could handle as they pleased. Fortunately, the young prince sent a loyal guard to protect him, and the guard kept him safe throughout the journey. Dage gazed at the guard's strong, broad back as he moved with the nimble grace of a skilled martial artist. Even the guard's mask couldn't hide his cool, handsome face. Dage's heart pounded wildly. On the night before they were to enter the capital and meet the husband he was to marry, Dage looked at the masked man before him and summoned the courage to beg him to run away together. The man raised a hand and gently pinched Dage's pretty, flushed cheek. His voice was low and husky. "I can't. I'm His Highness's guard. I will never betray him." Dage didn't want to hear that. He rose on tiptoe and blocked the man's mouth. But Dage was sent into the palace all the same, and met his husband. The Crown Prince of the Great Xia Kingdom was incomparably handsome, but his temperament was dark and violent. He treated Dage very roughly. So Dage often went to see the prince's personal guard. Curled up in his arms, eyes red, he would tell him how unfairly he was treated and show him the bruises and red marks on his wrists and knees. The guard, who had ultimately fallen for him step by step, was like the most loyal wolfhound. He lowered his head and gently licked away the little prince's wounds. What Dage feared most was that the affair between him and his guard would be discovered. But strangely, his guard brother and his violent husband never seemed to appear in the same place...
