After the death of the last member of one of Britain's 28 Pure-blood families, the inheritance of the British Rosier estate falls to a branch of the French Rosier family, a reclusive Pure-blood family, that is unpopular with the main family.
Ophelia Rosier, who had dreamed of attending Beauxbatons ever since she was little, begins a new life in Britain. Life there is far less peaceful than she imagined.
