This story is also known as My Rare Pair Is Actually Real

Gu Ling is a popular, talented actor with an outstanding presence and strikingly handsome features. In fanfiction, he's the dominant partner in pairings with half the entertainment industry, earning him the title of the ultimate top from countless fans.

As it happens, Gu Ling really is gay in private. Unfortunately, he's not a top.

Gu Ling: I just don't want to be the top! Being the top is exhausting, and I'm lazy.

Then he starts working with the nation's idol, Qi Yi. The more Gu Ling looks at the sunny, handsome young man in front of him, the more he likes him.

He calls me Brother Gu? So sweet. He's my fan? So adorable. Why does he keep saying how amazing I am? It's a little embarrassing, but it feels great.

Gu Ling: It's over. I've fallen in love. I've decided: I'll be a top for love. No one can stop me!

But just as they're about to take the final step, Qi Yi says, "Brother Gu, could you let me be the top? I'm actually a top."

Gu Ling: ...

???

A story about a protagonist who was too lazy to be a top, finally decided he wanted to be one, and then got forcibly turned into a bottom.

Ever since a photo of them sleeping with their heads leaning together at the airport came out, fans immediately started shipping Gu Ling and Qi Yi as "Ling Yi."

But this pairing is cold, freezing cold. Among all of Gu Ling's pairings, it barely even counts. The fans huddle together for warmth, shivering in the cold.

And even fewer people ship "Yi Ling."

But who would have thought that this pairing, from the very edge of the shipping world, would actually be real? The truth is in the hands of this small group of fans.

A happily-ever-after romance, devoted in both directions, with a weak top and strong bottom. One-on-one pairing.

CP: A girl who reads too much into things + a cuddly puppy + younger male lead + easily embarrassed top x a laid-back, very lazy, softhearted, emotionally oblivious bottom
