In her previous life, Yanyan was a low-ranking maid in the General's residence.
She only wanted to earn enough money to buy her freedom, return to her hometown, buy a house, and enjoy her old age.
But because she was curvy and shapely, women often looked at her with contempt, while men stole glances at her.
Then the general happened to see her while drunk and took her as a bedchamber maid.
Later, the general married a princess.
To put the princess at ease, Xie Wang personally held Yanyan under a washbasin and strangled her to death. She was pregnant with twins.
When Yanyan opened her eyes again, she had returned to the moment she was chosen to be a bedchamber maid.
That night, in the rain, Yanyan slipped into the Eastern Courtyard, drenched and feeling her way through the dark.
The current Crown Prince was secretly recovering from his injuries there.
If she had to climb into someone's bed either way,
this time, she would become the most noble woman in the land!
