Due to a System malfunction, professional villain Mu Zhisui transmigrates into a novel full of melodrama as the cannon-fodder biological daughter who was switched at birth.
The original character was a C-list actress who was hated across the internet for throwing herself at a top-tier star. A mere tool to make the fake heiress look good, she was never acknowledged by the wealthy Shen family and eventually died in an accident on set.
When Mu Zhisui arrives, the original character has just been secretly set up by the fake heiress to sign on to the livestream variety show I'm an All-Rounder.
I'm an All-Rounder has its guests compete alongside experts from various fields under difficult conditions. When people hear that Mu Zhisui is one of the guests, they mock her across the internet and wait for her to embarrass herself.
But after the show goes live...
At the agricultural base, Mu Zhisui is the first to complete the challenge. She also repairs the base's tractor and helps three interns finish their agriculture theses.
At the Go training base, Mu Zhisui wins five matches in a row against ninth-dan masters and solves a century-old endgame that was said to be impossible to crack.
At the martial arts school, Mu Zhisui asks all her opponents to come at once so they can finish in time for dinner. After defeating all seven, she gives each one advice tailored to how they can improve.
After the show goes live, the haters keep looking for a chance to push #MuZhisuiGetOutOfShowbiz onto the trending list. Mu Zhisui does eventually trend, but the topics are instead:
#AgriculturalExpertMuZhisui
#MuZhisuiGeniusGoProdigy
#MuZhisuiTheUltimateFighter
#EvenTheTopTierStarIsntGoodEnoughForMyAllRounderDaughter
#TheWomanWhoRedefinedBeautyStandardsInShowbiz
The haters wail: She's so far above everyone else, how are we supposed to hate on her? What door did heaven close on Mu Zhisui?!!
Later, the show asks its guests to invite a friend or family member to appear. According to industry rumors, the top male idol in esports, the CEO of a publicly traded company, and the head of a top-tier wealthy family all challenged one another like elementary school kids, just for the chance to appear on the show with Mu Zhisui.
