You've Always Been in My Heart

Please check out my upcoming story * The first time Gu An'an met Shen Dong, she was seventeen and had been at the Feng home for less than a month. She was crouched in the yard, picking up the school supplies and homework Feng Shaoqing had tossed out the window. Shen Dong stood under a tree smoking. He was a young man in his twenties, frighteningly tall, with a pair of handsome, icy eyes and an expression as hard as a stone frozen in winter. He looked like a handful. * As it turned out, no one could be harder to win over than him. When Gu An'an asked him to hold her hand, Shen Dong said, "How can a young lady like you be so shameless?" When Gu An'an asked him for a hug, Shen Dong said, "If you're cold, go back and put on some clothes!" When Gu An'an asked him for a kiss, Shen Dong simply pressed one finger to her forehead and pushed her away. Gu An'an rubbed ginger juice on her fingertips, then put on a teary-eyed expression. "Do you really not like me?" Shen Dong irritably tapped the ash off his cigarette and looked away. "I'll never like you, not in this lifetime!" Gu An'an said, "That's okay. I like you, and that's enough..." Shen Dong rubbed his brow, looking thoroughly annoyed. "Whatever!" * Later, Gu An'an and Shen Dong broke up, and she went through four boyfriends in succession. She "ran into" Shen Dong countless times while on dates, and every day she was relieved just to still be alive. * Later still, Feng Shaoqing got drunk, tearfully confessed his love, and clung to her, refusing to let go. Shen Dong, who could stay calm even as Mount Tai crumbled before him, lost his temper for the first time and beat his young nephew until he was crawling on the ground. Shen Dong: "Gu An'an is my woman. Let me see anyone try to lay a finger on her!" * A heroine who pretends to be a little white rabbit, flirts, then runs away VS a male lead who says one thing but is hopelessly in love Gu An'an: "Another day of being a little minx, yay!" * 1. The boyfriends the heroine dates afterward are just for show. They have no real interaction. 2. One-on-one romance, both leads are inexperienced.
