Land of the Lustrous + Touken Ranbu: My Saniwa Keeps Shattering

Tourmaline was the first Gem to be born. With a hardness of 8, he was a fine, vivid blue gemstone. He was taken away by the Lunarians while protecting Antarcticite and Phosphophyllite. After being caught in a space-time vortex, he landed in the Government of Time. The spatial distortion had, however, reduced his hardness to 2.8, leaving him a soft, fragile thing. (This is a heartwarming story <???> about a sunny Honmaru redeeming a dark Gem Master. It leans toward an obsessive Phoenix.)
