Break Up That Cursed Couple!

Cheng Jing lived off rental income and waited to die of boredom. Her best friend urged her to read a girls' love novel titled I Still Love You, a name full of undying devotion. But the plot was so melodramatic it made her intensely uncomfortable! Then she woke up and found she'd transmigrated into the book! The first time they met, Cheng Jing saw her pretty neighbor's car being stopped in the road by a handsome girl on a motorcycle. The girl made a passionate declaration of love. Cheng Jing silently called the police. A loudspeaker outside the shopping mall was cheerfully playing, "You don't understand love, Fahai~ The Leifeng Pagoda's falling down!" The second time they met, the pretty girl next door was pale as a ghost, like she had her period, when the handsome girl pinned her against the doorway. The handsome girl tried to kiss her by force, got rejected, and slammed the door on her way out. Cheng Jing steadied the doorframe, still shaking from the impact, and quietly turned on the subwoofer. Right on cue, it blared, "This is the feel, so damn good!" The third time they met, the pretty girl next door was out shopping with the handsome woman when the woman's mother showed up. Sobbing, she demanded to know whether her daughter would choose her or her girlfriend. The handsome woman apologized to the pretty girl next door, was forced to break up with her, then left with her mother... The pretty girl next door looked cold and miserable, her eyes red-rimmed. It made Cheng Jing's heart ache. Cheng Jing hesitated for two seconds, then walked over and openly offered her a tissue. "Hey, pretty girl, how about considering me instead?" I'm Cheng Jing, and I break up couples! This story is just a self-indulgent idea, not carefully thought through, and not fact-checked. The plot goes wherever it wants, there are no brains involved, and it's a silly, sweet story. Updates whenever. Let's part on good terms.
