[The sequel, "Streaming: I Became the Top Courtesan in a Leveling Game," is now being serialized. Please add it to your reading list~]
Blurb:
Wu He transmigrates into a harem game. His goal is to clear it by becoming empress.
Wu He: Can I go back after I clear the game?
System: Sorry, dear, you can't~
Wu He: Oh.
System: Sorry, dear, you tried to climb over the wall at night, fell from the city wall, and died~
System: Sorry, dear, you were mistaken for an assassin after climbing the wall and shot dead. You died again~
System: Sorry, dear, you tried to poison the emperor, but he found out and sentenced you to death.
System: ...Dear, what are you doing?
Wu He pointed at the palace wall, showing a row of white teeth as he smiled brightly. "My goal: chastity and freedom!"
I want out of the palace! You know, out of the palace?
A consort who uses brute force to crush everything has stumbled into a harem rife with schemes and intrigue. Wu He surveys his surroundings. "Anyone who dares to slap my face, get ready for me to slap yours!"
If I can't die, I can do whatever I want. Hmph!
But why is the story going in such a strange direction?
You have recruited the Captain of the Guards. +1.
You have recruited the mighty Great General. +1.
You have recruited the Imperial Preceptor. +1.
You have achieved the accomplishment: Friends and businesses across the land.
One day,
the mighty Great General, who commands three hundred thousand troops, kneels before him. "Please ascend the throne, my lord."
Huh?
Also known as, "From Male Consort to Emperor: What Happened to Me?"
Bonus Scene:
Before the coronation:
Emperor: I'll give you anything you want.
Wu He: I want to leave the palace.
Emperor: Absolutely not!
After the coronation:
Wu He: I wish to leave the palace.
The civil and military officials: Absolutely not!
The former emperor, dressed in a phoenix crown and bridal robes, sits beside him and says with interest, "Tired? How about we try something new?"
Wu He: I refuse!!!
P.S.
1. Updates: three thousand words every evening at 6.
2. Wu He is the top and Ming Huang is the bottom. Sweeties, don't mix them up!
3. This game is set in a fictional world! The ranks of the harem consorts are based on the Qing dynasty, while the clothing is based on the Ming dynasty. Men all have hair, yes, because I don't like half-shaved heads. Please don't get too hung up on historical accuracy.

"Streaming: I Became the Top Courtesan in a Leveling Game"
Yan Ge is a laid-back player. When the world's first full-immersion martial arts game, "The Road Ahead Is Hard," launches, he faces all sorts of possible roles and chooses to become a performer at Phoenix House! That's right, a male performer.
On the night he logs into the game, Yan Ge transmigrates. He looks at the manager, who is smiling kindly at him, and before he can even fight back, the System appears.
"Ding! A System error has been detected. After the next update, players will return to the real world."
"I can go back?" Yan Ge asks.
"Of course! Do you think I'm that inhumane? I would never do anything to restrict a player's freedom!" the System says indignantly.
Well, at least he can still go back. Yan Ge happily accepts the fact that he will be an NPC for a while and quickly settles into ancient life. He strolls around the market, streams himself eating delicious food, and, when he has time, teases players who visit Phoenix House and streams all sorts of tricks.
Anyway, the game is set up so that any intimate contact below the neck triggers a fade to black and locks the characters in a dark room. For an NPC, that means knocking out a player and tossing them into the dark room, and even getting paid for it. Life is carefree and comfortable.
Until
"I'll pay one hundred taels!" A silly-looking swordsman blushes as he buys the incense Yan Ge used for his disastrously bad debut performance.
In the livestream in the real world, the chat goes quiet for a moment as the swordsman leaves.
"If I'm not mistaken, that's the greatest swordsman under heaven, the legendary aloof, proud, domineering... Swordsman Wushuang?"
"Ah! Go for it, handsome! Make him fall for you! I'll send you a rocket!" A moment later, the livestream chat erupts.
Yan Ge looks at the blushing swordsman before him and curls his lips into a smile.
Bonus Scene:
Two cities are at war, and flames of battle engulf Luoyang. All the restrictions on players have vanished. Whether they can burn, kill, and plunder now depends only on which side they choose. Starting at the city gates, Swordsman Wushuang slaughters every enemy faction member. By the time everyone is cheering, he is nowhere to be seen.
Yan Ge looks at the swordsman, now standing before him, covered in blood. "You're here?"
Swordsman Wushuang: "I'm here. The chaos is over. No one can hurt you."
In Yan Ge's livestream chat:
"Ahhhhh! What a beautiful romance!"
"I'm dying, I'm dying. I'm dying of sweetness."
Then a big man's anguished cry rings out: "Wushuang, this is a leveling game!"
Even more terrifying than Yan Ge becoming a performer in a leveling game is Swordsman Wushuang turning a leveling game into a romance simulation game.
[Recommended romance novel by a friend: "The Male Lead and I Can't Stand Each Other"]
Wen Xueyi has the rotten luck to transmigrate into the role of the junior sister who is wholeheartedly in love with the male lead. Well... the kind who later has to share him with a bunch of other women, orz.
Theme:
I always felt something was wrong with the ending. I felt like there were a lot of questions left unanswered. What happened to Wu Yun's original world, and what about the world after they left (by the way, Wu Yun really only appeared by name——) Whose preference did the last chapter live up to? Prime Minister Lu? Five thousand years? Is this really a game world? Is Prime Minister Lu an awakened person in this world, or a person from other worlds? ? ? … But it's okay just to relieve boredom. Then... The end of spreading flowers???
I can't feel any freedom in this article
Is the ending unfinished? It was obviously going well in the beginning, but ghosts, immortals, who is Prime Minister Lu suddenly appeared, what happened to the world, and finally it collapsed.
Looks good, but a little short
I came here from the mermaid, with a mentality of rushing for sweet articles, but Goose Gong sometimes makes me feel tempted, but there are also a group of indifferent people. The twist in the ending was so unexpected that I had a mouthful of glass shards, and my little mentality collapsed.
I'm confused, how could this ending be so exciting?
What an inexplicable ending?
After watching it, I just felt that Gong was very frustrated, and even falling in love with Shou in the end felt forced. Sad
Hahahahaha, obviously you heard it right!
Wu He: Yes, yes, yes, if not I would have run away long ago
