The Demon King Is Always Picking Fights

The Demon King had ruled the demon race for a hundred years when a moment of carelessness left him afflicted by a strange curse. The black mage who was to break the curse told him he had to find one pure, kind, and beautiful young woman in each of the seven human kingdoms, personally chosen by him. Each girl had to care for him attentively during the seven days before the curse was due to strike. After seven days, the curse would not take effect. Once he had completed this seven times, the curse would disappear. The black mage gave the Demon King a special warning: once he chose a girl, he couldn't change his choice. The Demon King sneered. "Ha! How hard could it be to trick a human girl?" So the Demon King and his minions smoothly completed the first six tasks. But as he prepared to stage an accident in front of the last girl, he realized... Elvira saw a cat lying on the road to her house, breathing faintly and looking close to death. She calmly stepped aside and walked past it. Cat-Demon King: "..." Minion A: "Ah, Lord Demon King failed again." Minion B: "How many times is this now?" Minion C: "...I've lost count." Minion D: "Ah~ Miss Elvira's outfit looks lovely today~" Demon King: "...Help me up. I'll try a different trick."
