System No. 7 at Your Service

System No. 7 is a legendary big shot. They say that when it comes to tricking Hosts into taking on missions, it will stop at nothing. It will solemnly tell Host A, "Our goal is world peace!" Then dump the Host as soon as it's done with them. It will fire Host B up with, "Conquering the world is our life's pursuit!" Then dump the Host as soon as it's done with them. It will sweetly plead with Host C, "Big brother Host, you have to help me~" Then, once it gets what it wants, instantly switch back to its cold, masculine mechanical voice: "It's been a pleasure working with you." Tens of millions of hapless victims have been conned by it, but the System big shot is as hard-hearted as iron and never looks back at the explosions. Until one day No. 7 pinned someone against the wall with an expressionless face. "Why are you following me?" The other person smiled and pulled a rose from his arms. . Cold, efficiency-first System bottom x Iron-blooded God of War top, clingy in private One-on-one, happy ending, both are each other's first P.S.: 1. This story comes from my frustration that so many System novels never properly explain where the Systems came from. 2. The protagonist, "System No. 7," is a real System, a real mechanical life-form. 3. There is a love interest!!! Not a Host!!! 4. This story will show how Systems operate from a System's perspective, and explain the many easily overlooked, deeply unsettling details in other System novels. 5. If you can't accept a cold, calculating mastermind, I suggest clicking × to exit. 6. Lots of made-up terms ahead. 7. If you spot a bug, please wake me up in the comments. Theme: Observing the world and human nature from an AI's perspective.
