The Fox Transforms into a Butterfly

A nine-tailed fox with a thousand years of cultivation,

well versed in the ways and manners of the human world,

perhaps heard that a gentleman should keep away from the kitchen,

and so transformed from a beast that tore out hearts and gnawed lungs into a virtuous, well-mannered orphan girl.

For three lifetimes, I passed you by.

In my fourth, I would become a butterfly, dispel your misfortunes, and ensure your future is bright.
