Lan Juyi (top) had a very handsome face, especially his eyes. He'd spent years without ever becoming particularly popular, but he took every role seriously. Then a suspense web series with two male leads in 2018 made him an overnight sensation. What people didn't know was that his fame was built on years of hard work and dedication before he made it big. He also comes from a wealthy family. His parents are cheerful and open-minded, and he grew up in a loving home.
Lin Qingxian (bottom) has won Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Newcomer, and even TV King, nearly sweeping every award over the years. He has few friends. His best friend died at the scene of a car accident during a road trip meant to help him through a rough patch. After his father's business failed, he turned to drugs and jumped into the sea to kill himself on the day Lin Qingxian finished his college entrance exams. His mother passed away three years ago. So he lives a quiet, solitary life, acting in one show every year and a half, traveling alone and eating alone in his spare time. He's a devoted fan of the game Travel Frog, and his room is full of merchandise featuring that silly frog. His days passed in quiet monotony, until he met Lan Juyi, his very own little ray of sunshine.
