If Li Tang had known that having a nightmare on the Ghost Festival would send him into an infinite-flow System, with a year of monthly horror-themed part-time missions ahead of him, then... he would definitely have been even more eager to dive under the covers that night.
Come on, if you round things up, it's like getting to play a horror virtual reality game all night once a month. Do that for a year and you get one wish granted. That's awesome!
Li Tang: Do you guys have virtual reality games to play? No, you don't, hehe!
111: I've recorded that laugh. I hope you can still be this happy next month when a female ghost is chasing you around school and you're screaming your head off.
Li Tang: ...What do you get out of tormenting me, boyfriend?
111 raised an eyebrow: Hmm, your smile just moves from your face to mine?
Oh, right, he also managed to find a boyfriend through online dating, and his boyfriend turned out to be the System.
What a bargain (absolutely certain).
*Currently updates every other day. Sundays are reserved for organizing the outline and letting the wage-slave author crawl around in despair and cry about having to work tomorrow.
*A peaceful take on infinite flow. The author just wants something cooling and refreshing to eat in summer, without making things too heartbreaking (.), so just think of it as playing a virtual reality game. The main System has no grand conspiracy, just some little secrets whose answers are revealed at the end. But don't worry, this isn't Puella Magi Madoka Magica (
*The gong is a System. They won't meet in person until after the third instance, and the gong probably won't take physical form in the instances, so in a sense you could call it an online relationship (?).
*If the author doesn't get lazy, there should be twelve instances in total. They cover a mixed bag of themes, depending on what the author feels like reading about, including but not limited to rule-based urban legends, Lovecraftian horror, Chinese-style Lovecraftian horror, impostors, thalassophobia, and so on.
Theme: Maintaining world peace is everyone's responsibility
