People sing of the hero's great deeds. Her friends revere her convictions, and her enemies fear her strength.
Some say the hero lost her heart, leaving her cold and cruel. Others say she sold her soul, which is why her power is boundless.
And some say she doesn't fight to save the world at all. She's simply obsessed with conquest and destruction. When the Demon King disappears, she'll take his place and bring about the world's end.
Celine's response to all of this: No way. Absolutely not!
She isn't the hero herself, one of the hero's companions, or one of her enemies. But this world is the continuation of the hidden perfect happy ending she worked so hard to achieve in the game in her previous life!
How could the precious hero she lovingly raised have gone astray?
Conquest and destruction? The end of the world? That's pure slander!
To prove it, she decides to go to the hero's hometown herself and get answers from the retired hero, who's enjoying a quiet life.
But she doesn't find the hero. Instead, she comes across a beautiful amnesiac who seems a little dim.
At first, Celine thinks the silly girl is just an insignificant passerby. Feeling sorry for her, she takes her along on a whim.
Then danger strikes, and the silly girl casually summons the hero's signature weapon, blasting the enemies into pieces.
Celine stares at the silver hair and golden eyes, exactly like in the game.
Her pupils shake with shock: ...?
This isn't some passerby. This is the legendary Savior Hero herself!
Celine looks at the girl who can't even remember her own name, then at the max-level weapons and countless materials in her game inventory, and falls silent.
She decides to raise this down-and-out hero all over again in the real world. She figures that once the hero regains her memories and the truth comes out, all the rumors will be disproven.
And then...
The Hero, having regained her memories, declares, "I'm going to change the world."
Celine: "To make it better, right? OvO"
The Hero says nothing.
Celine: "To make it better, right? O_O"
Theme: The savior's redemption.
