Has the Princess's Consort Rebelled Today?

Xie Rang is the top scorer in the imperial exams of the Great Shang. Since the emperor is wary of the Xie family, he makes the family's only son marry the princess he dislikes most and become her consort. The emperor doesn't know that Xie Rang is actually a woman in disguise, a fake princess-consort, and that the Xie family has no plans to rebel. Xie Rang also doesn't know that the emperor has long planned to destroy the Xie family, and doesn't care whether they are willing to return their military authority. Reborn, Xie Rang no longer wants to be a loyal minister or a capable general. She wants to be a treacherous official, a corrupt minister with power over everyone. More than anything, she wants to be the consort who can protect that foolish princess. Bonus Scene: Hua Yiren: Consort, my imperial brothers say I'm bad at math and a fool. Xie Rang: To improve the level of mathematics in our Great Shang, the princes should lead by example and devote themselves to the subject. They are not allowed to leave the palace until they've calculated pi to a hundred decimal places. Emperor: The Xie family really is plotting against me! They have only just returned to court, and already they want to put my princes under house arrest!!! The main story is mostly told from the princess's point of view. Theme: Cherish the present
