A Deity Descends to the Mortal Realm

Pan Xi was reassigned to the mortal world to serve as the City God of a small town. When he arrived, he found that the place was so poor and barren that even getting a meal was a problem. To top it off, some foolhardy monster was about to challenge him to a duel. Pan "War God" Xi: After thousands of years, I’ve finally met someone who wants to fight me of their own accord. How do I deal with being a little excited? The small town hadn’t had a City God for centuries. Humans, ghosts, monsters, and gods all mingled together, leaving the place in utter chaos. The City God’s Temple was so poor it couldn’t scrape two coins together, and it didn’t even have a single offering of incense. Then a foolhardy little City God arrived, talking about reform. At first, nobody would accept him. Pan Xi raised his fists. “Do you accept me or not?” Humans, monsters, ghosts, and gods: “We accept! We accept! We accept! We’ll kneel down and sing your praises!” Q1: What do you do when monsters and demons won’t behave? Pan Xi: No problem. Give them a beating and they’ll be fine. Q2: What do you do when the temple is short-staffed? Pan Xi: No problem. Send out plenty of job postings and hire whoever applies. Q3: What do you do when the budget is in the red and there’s no money for salaries? Pan Xi: No problem. Get all the businesses up and running, and strive to be China’s best employees. Love interest: Darling, we’ve served as City Gods and had our fun in the mortal world. When are you coming home with me? (╥W╥) Pan Xi, playing deaf: What did you say? I can’t hear you. A story about an outrageously overpowered protagonist having the time of his life. Theme: Promoting truth, kindness, and beauty, and working hard to build a good life.
