The Fluffy Pet Is All Riled Up [Interstellar]

The overlord of the stars picked up a new little pet to raise at home. The pet was a tiny, fluffy thing, a precious breed, weak and helpless, and unbearably cute. Determined to be a responsible pet owner, Officer Gu bought lots of books, looked up plenty of information, consulted seasoned experts, and had a nutritious meal plan made just for his precious pet. The books said this kind of pet had a sensitive stomach and couldn't digest greasy meat, so it had to eat vegetables. From then on, there wasn't even a speck of oil in Jiang Qing's bowl. The books said this kind of pet was afraid of being lonely and needed to be played with often, or it might become depressed and die. So Officer Gu often tossed a silly plush ball right in front of her, looking foolishly hopeful. The books said this kind of pet was very affectionate and could be cuddled and slept with under the covers. Gu Xiu (staring): “...” Jiang Qing (fur bristling): “...Don't you come near me!” Jiang Qing was a spirit beast, a ridiculously powerful one. One day, this mighty spirit beast fell from the top of the food chain to the bottom, turning into a tiny pet that could only squeak. Well, a pet was a pet. With such a formidable owner, it wasn't exactly humiliating. But the problem was that the owner thought this pet was a herbivore! A herbivore! After a whole month without meat, Jiang Qing's eyes were about to glow green. Unable to hold back any longer, she bared her teeth, leaped onto the bed, and puffed up her fur. She glared at the man and snarled, “Look at my sharp fangs! Do I look like I eat vegetables?” “No.” “Good, at least you know that... What's for dinner?” “Boiled carrots.” “...” A sweet, cozy romance between two powerful leads, with no angst (*^▽^*)
