Shu Yun died in a car accident and was reborn as the eldest daughter of a marquis's household. With her gentle, virtuous nature, soft and delicate beauty, and willowy figure, she quickly became every young nobleman's first choice for a wife.

The moment she came of age, matchmakers practically wore down her doorstep.

Who could have guessed she would turn down all the handsome scholars and dashing young men, and instead set her sights on Jia Zhen, a notorious wastrel, trampling the pride of every noble young master in the capital.

Why?

She replied, "I'm doing this for your own good!"

The young nobles spat blood: What the hell do you mean, for our own good!

But just three days after the wedding, rumors began circulating in the Ningguo Household: Jia Zhen, a notorious lecher, had chatted with a pretty maid for a while, and the gentle, virtuous Shu Yun had locked him outside in the cold for half the night!

The mothers-in-law: Utter nonsense!

A month later, the Ningguo Household was spreading more absurd stories for free: Jia Zhen, the wastrel, had lost every cockfight and dog race to the delicate Shu Yun, and was now confined to the household, forced to study and practice martial arts. He couldn't even leave the house!

The young ladies: What outrageous lies!

Half a year later, rumors about the Ningguo Household were flying everywhere: Jia Zhen, the useless good-for-nothing, had tried to divorce his wife and been beaten so badly by the frail-looking Shu Yun that he was left impotent and nearly died!

The young men: Slanderous rumors!

But when it happened again and again, the people of the capital finally caught on: false advertising hurts people!

The young men: Thank you, Eldest Miss, for refusing to marry us!

A year later, Jia Zhen's reputation had completely turned around. He was now known as a loving, devoted husband with a bright future, the perfect son-in-law.

Curious, everyone surrounded him at the academy and asked what it was like to have a fierce wife at home.

Jia Zhen: I just want to hug myself and feel sorry for me.JPG
