My new novel, Unbounded Favoritism, is now underway.
Both leads are each other's first.
Gu Changjun has noticed that strange young men have been hanging around outside his home lately. At first, he thinks they're spies sent by political enemies.
Then General Luo, who has never gotten along with him, and the heir to the Marquis of Changping's title come to his door one after the other, bowing and calling themselves his juniors. Only then does Gu Changjun realize the truth.
The little girl living in his back courtyard has come of age and is ready for marriage proposals.
Gu Changjun's face darkens. He has Zhou Ying summoned, intending to warn her to behave herself and stay away from those shady men. But the moment he sees her, he stumbles over his words.
Why did no one tell him that little crybaby had grown into such a beauty?
Zhou Ying lost her parents when she was young. After the Gu family took her in, she finally had a safe haven. She works hard at embroidery and cooking, hoping to win over the whole Gu family, but for some reason, her nominal third uncle is always cold to her.
Then one day, her third uncle suddenly tells her, "Get your things ready. It's time for you to marry."
Zhou Ying is stunned.
At the same time, she hears that her third uncle is going to marry a third aunt? She wonders which unlucky girl will have to marry such a terrifying man.
Later, Zhou Ying discovers through tears that the unlucky girl is none other than herself.
An innocent, timid little white rabbit of a heroine vs. a mercurial, crazy hero.
Warnings:
1. The heroine's true background is revealed later. The leads are not related by blood.
2. The hero is twelve years older than the heroine.
3. All the male supporting characters love the heroine.
Contest entry reason: The hero hires professionals to develop water conservancy projects for the good of the country.
Recommending my new novel, Unbounded Favoritism.
Blurb
Yuan Wan was betrothed to her cousin Bishi from childhood. After a family crisis, her uncle took her in and raised her in Jincheng, and she was to marry her cousin once she came of age.
But things don't go as planned. Her aunt gradually begins to show her disdain, and Yuan Wan is inexplicably pushed off a rockery, nearly disfigured and killed. Only then does she realize that her life was never as peaceful as it seemed.
Just then, a certain lord passes through Jincheng on an imperial mission to escort a bride. Her aunt plots to send Yuan Wan to the eunuch's room.
After one night, her aunt and the others await the "good news" that the eunuch has taken Yuan Wan. But when the door opens, a tall, imposing man with "not to be messed with" written all over his face walks out with Yuan Wan.
Supporting her aching waist, Yuan Wan introduces him shyly: "This is the current Prince Regent."
A little scene
Xia Yi happens to pass through Jincheng. While conspiring with his advisers, he encounters a girl who seems like a "spy." His subordinates are concerned and have people follow her, reporting her movements to him every day.
"Your Highness, the marriage between Miss Lu and the third son of the Wang family is off."
"Your Highness, the third son of the Wang family broke into Miss Lu's bedroom at night and was thrown out..."
"Your Highness, Miss Lu went to see the third son of the Wang family..."
"Your Highness, Miss Lu was sent to that eunuch..."
Xia Yi rubs his forehead. "Enough! What does this have to do with me?"
His subordinate falls silent.
A moment later, Xia Yi suddenly turns around. "Where did you say she was sent?"
That night, Jincheng is turned upside down, and Xia Yi finally finds the "Miss Lu."
Later, he decides to "keep an eye on her" himself. Yuan Wan can barely breathe. The Prince Regent is a mighty lion in public, so why does he turn into a wolf that can never get enough behind closed doors?
Theme:
I also feel like it's a mess. The first part looks good, but after reading the second part, I don't think it's as good as the first part.
I feel like I've finished watching it, but I feel like I haven't read anything at all…
This Luoyun is very upright and her husband is not a good person either.
It's not finished. The plot after the mystery of the heroine's life experience is revealed and the subsequent plots are not written by one person compared to the previous plots. As exciting as the foreshadowing is, the ending at the end is so hasty. The entire subsequent plot feels a bit incomprehensible.
Can a person who has betrayed be forgiven after time has passed? When the heroine was not really harmed, could the bad guys feel at ease? What if the heroine was killed?
Nice! It turns out that I finally have a daughter. I didn't expect this to be my first book. This length is actually just right for me, and my concubine also likes it, but I really can't stand the part about children at the end.
Great writing style guaranteed! Book it all and you won't lose any money! The plot is also very good, but the age difference (psychological + physical) between the male and female protagonists is not clearly reflected in daily interactions. The next one will definitely be better!
Is there anything written about Luo Yun and Mr. Wang?
I really want to see the sequel of Luo Yun and Mr. Wang
I still can't accept the Luo Yun line. It's a bit redundant. And there are a lot of typos in the last chapter.
