1. Everyone in the Heian-kyo where Abe no Seimei (male) lives has had their gender swapped. The characters who haven't been gender-swapped still exist, but it's like parallel worlds, so they generally won't meet.
2. The old-fashioned Heian-kyo residents have no trouble adjusting after they transmigrate into modern-set anime, thanks to a convenient gift of foresight.
