"What the heck?" The little boy took the parchment envelope, mumbling, "This owl's definitely become a spirit. Tsk, did I save her in my past life, and now she's here to repay me?" He tossed the envelope aside without bothering to read it, instead carefully observing the impatient owl. "Hmm, gray, pretty big... Seems to be a great gray owl... Ah, don't peck me! I'm getting mad! I mean it!"
One minute later...
The little boy sat upright at his desk, looking serious, with one hand propping up his chin as he pondered. That is, if you ignored his messy hair and the soft gray feathers resting on top of his head.
"Hogwarts... Never heard of it." The boy was puzzled, but his instincts told him it wasn't a prank. As he racked his brain, trying to figure out what kind of school this was, he caught sight of the owl he'd placated with little biscuits.
"Nooo! My biscuits! Save some for me!"
