Official announcement! Going VIP on Wednesday, September 25. A 10,000-character update drops that day, and we'll be giving away red packets in the comments. Everyone who sees this gets one! Hey, friend, want to ascend in broad daylight and claim a divine throne? How about trying Wukong's delivery service? Monkey Bro: Tomorrow, our scripture-seeking delivery guy will arrive at Great Immortal Zhenyuan's Wuzhuang Temple. Only five Ginseng Fruits are available, each of which grants 47,000 years of life. First come, first served. Don't miss out! Bajie: Next stop, the Kingdom of Women! Dear customers, hoping for a daughter? We offer professional delivery of water from the Mother-Child River. Not 998, just 388, and we'll deliver your little girl right to your door! Sha Wujing: Wuji Kingdom is drowning in unsold black chickens! Please help them! On their way to fetch the scriptures, the travelers passed through Wuji Kingdom and discovered that the king had been usurped by his sworn brother because black chickens weren't selling. We hope kindhearted netizens will lend a hand: buy a black chicken and save the king of Wuji Kingdom! Tang Sanzang: ...I think I must be fetching the wrong scriptures. (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻ Sun Wukong, who was driven away by Tang Sanzang, has returned. But after rejoining the group, the Great Sage seems a little different from before. As it turns out, being a professional interstellar shopper means that even after he transmigrates into the painfully arduous journey to fetch the scriptures, he doesn't let it stop him from spreading the joy of shopping. He'll buy up the Three Realms! Reading notes: 1. This is a story with a male protagonist who is pursued by another man, one-on-one, and both are each other's only partners. 2. You don't need to have read the original Journey to the West to enjoy this, since the protagonist gets a children's picture-book version of Journey to the West, too. 3. The author can't afford to fill in all the plot holes, so this is still a fun, silly foodie story. Theme: The journey for scriptures isn't worth it, but good food is.
