Did I Call Your Name?

A story about a young man with a crush on an older man, who ends up getting eaten alive by him.

After being caught up in a team-leaving scandal, professional esports player Gao Yi is asked by a friend to fill in as a substitute teacher one day. During roll call, he gets caught red-handed.

Getting caught isn't the point. The point is that he falls in love at first sight with the teacher taking attendance.

From then on, Gao Yi throws caution to the wind, showing up to sit in on classes and answer roll call every few days.

"Cao Bin."

"Here." The fake college student in the lecture hall quietly raises his hand.

The teacher looks up and says calmly, "Did I call your name?"

Gao Yi's inner monologue: I'm a fake college student who's got nothing better to do than show up for your classes every day. How can you not tell I have a thing for you?

Everyone says Teacher Qiu is handsome and aloof, and that he's almost thirty and has never dated anyone.

Until one day, someone sees him pinning a fair-skinned young man against the wall and kissing him.

Gao Yi: ...So you like me too?

Qiu Sinian: ? Was I not making it obvious enough?
