The Immortal Lord in My Home Is a Plague God

[Blurb 1] A clam spirit born from the essence of heaven and earth and the sun and moon agrees to help her koi spirit friend leap through the Dragon Gate. On the day her friend makes the attempt, she is supposed to clamp her shell around the koi's tail so the pain will make her leap with all her strength and become a newly exalted member of the Dragon Clan. But the clam spirit uses too much force. The koi fails to clear the Dragon Gate and instead flings the clam spirit through it.

With the ancient Dragon Clan long extinct, all the immortals gather at the Dragon Gate to await the newest exalted arrival. They never expected a clam spirit instead of the koi who was supposed to come through.

Disappointed, the immortals randomly assign her somewhere to go.

The clam spirit thinks: Did you ask me before assigning me to that calamity's residence?

[Blurb 2] During a mortal lifetime, Su Cixi teases an innocent little clam spirit, telling her that he feels unwell and that a hug might make him feel better. The little clam spirit sweetly lets him hug her.

When he returns to the Upper Realm, Su Cixi loses the memories of his time among mortals and reverts to his old self, the cold-faced plague god Cang Qi. He barely even glances at the little clam spirit assigned to his residence. But when his old affliction flares up, the girl seriously asks, "Would you like to hug me, Immortal Lord?"

Cang Qi coldly tells her, "Get out."

Once Cang Qi regains his memories, he stops the little clam spirit from leaving. With a perfectly serious expression, he makes something up: "I don't feel very well. Maybe a hug from you will help."

Ruo Ning looks at him calmly and says coldly, "Please conduct yourself with dignity, Immortal Lord."

Witness the long road of a lovesick immortal lord pursuing his wife~

This story is a slow burn. There will be angst and there will be sweetness, with a generally bittersweet tone. If things get too angsty by accident, I'll make sure they get sweet again soon~
