The Empress Keeps Trying to Assassinate Me

While bathing in her own chambers, Yue Fengshi was caught completely naked by a female assassin who suddenly barged in.

The assassin thought she'd just seen an eyesore of a "ugly man" bathing. She cursed him for being shameless, then quickly left.

Once Yue Fengshi came to her senses, she shouted angrily, "Shameless female assassin! How dare you peek at the Sixth Prince bathing!"

The more Yue Fengshi thought about it, the angrier she got. She couldn't let that assassin get away with it!

So Yue Fengshi decided to leave the palace, find the assassin, and bring her back to become her princess consort!

Yue Fengshi's personal head maid was so worried she was losing handfuls of hair. Her mistress had gone completely mad, taking her confidants out of the palace to look for a woman whose name she didn't even know!

Along the way, the Sixth Prince didn't find a wife, but did make quite a few friends.

Her friends came to a tacit agreement: the Sixth Prince truly was unfathomable!

Someone who had already become the prince's consort rolled her eyes. "You unfathomable prince, let go of my leg already!"

The Sixth Prince said, "All right, I'll let go. Don't be mean to me!"

An inscrutable prince before others, a timid softie before her wife, the Sixth Prince x A somewhat fierce, exceptionally skilled princess consort

This is really a story about someone who sets out to find a wife, makes friends along the way, and somehow ends up becoming emperor.
