"Look at this Jin. The meat looks delicious. Catch him and cook him, and he'll taste amazing."

Someone rubs their hands together, eager to give it a try.

Jin: ?????

At first:

Jin: "Mo, I like you best. We'll always be best friends! (??3`?)?"

Mo: "Mhm! I like you best too. Let's be best friends forever. (?>?<?)"

Later:

Jin: "I... I like you. Can I be your boyfriend?"

Mo: "? What are you talking about, Jin? Haven't we always been good friends? Don't tell me you never thought of me as a good friend before!"

Jin: "I didn't! You've always been my good friend!!"

Mo: "Good."

Jin: Sob

P.S. The protagonist is the shou, and an original character. Jin is the pairing. This doesn't follow the original plot.

The protagonist has watched Aotu, is a huge Jin fan, and loves all Jin pairings.

Of course, everyone else sees the protagonist and Jin as friends.
