The Poor Rich Man

At twenty-three, Qian Le inherited his biological great-uncle's estate. He went from rags to riches, with no education or ability, yet somehow every business he tried made him rich.

At twenty-two, Shao Nan came from a prestigious family. He worked hard and never complained, with plenty of education and culture, yet he ran into obstacles everywhere and couldn't make a fortune no matter what he did.

When Shao Nan was at his lowest, he met Qian Le, who was at the peak of his life. To help Shao Nan escape bankruptcy, Qian Le invited him to join a reality show about the lives of the wealthy, hoping they could earn a little money. The show's arrangements also sparked their feelings, which quickly grew more intense. Just when Shao Nan thought he and Qian Le had become the best friends in the world, Qian Le confessed his love!

As a straight man, Shao Nan couldn't accept those feelings, so he rejected Qian Le. They broke off their friendship and never saw each other again. But strangely, Shao Nan began to suffer from insomnia because of it.

He started replaying their show over and over, refreshing Qian Le's social media feed again and again. Even hearing Qian Le's name made his heart ache unbearably...
