Blurb One:
Xu Yi has had a crush on Lu Yanyu for three years, but she's always been too timid to confess.
Her friend encouraged her: "The way he looks at you is so flirtatious every time! He doesn't look at anyone else like that!"
"Here's what you do: give him a kiss. If he doesn't get mad, that proves he likes you."
Xu Yi was only half convinced.
Late at night, she knocked on Lu Yanyu's door. Faced with his cool, distant expression, all the courage she'd gathered to throw herself at him and kiss him vanished in an instant.
All she could do was ask in a voice softer than a mosquito's,
"Um... c-can I kiss you?"
The man answered firmly, "No."
Sob. Clutching her broken heart, the girl prepared to leave in tears. But the moment she turned around, the man picked her up and set her on the desk.
As he tenderly nibbled and kissed her lips, he spoke in a low, amused voice. "One kiss isn't enough."
Blurb Two:
After a new little secretary joined the company,
the group chat exploded:
"This is ridiculous! She's only been working here for a week and has already been late five days!"
"She dares to take a nap during work hours. Tsk, today's rookies!"
"If she's a little princess, she shouldn't come to work. I don't know who spoiled her like this, but she has no manners."
With 99+ messages in the chat, everyone was still ready to complain when the aloof boss joined the group and sent his first message.
Lu Yanyu: [I spoiled her. Any objections?]
Everyone instantly trembled and fell silent.
Little Scene:
The next morning, Xu Yi was late again.
Blushing, she complained, "It's all your fault last night! If this keeps up, how am I supposed to go to work?"
The man, thoroughly satisfied and in a good mood, was happy even to be scolded. "Mm, it's all my fault."
Then he took her hand and kissed her palm. "You don't have to work. I'll take care of you."
