Slaughter

Qiang is the first tone, as in the word for "harm."

If someone uses their own death as bait to make human-skinned monsters shed their disguises, are they trying to tell us about a buried past or a cruel reality?

A string of murders, falling like dominoes, and mysterious cards in the style of medieval oil paintings, delivered anonymously. Are they speaking of sin, or passing judgment on it?

Greed, Gluttony, Pride, Envy, Lust, Wrath, Sloth.

Which one might be yours?

"If you go into this line of work, you'll see countless baffling and bizarre cases over the course of your life. So many demons and monsters hide behind convincing human skin, and your investigative skills are the magic mirror that exposes them. Always remember: Heaven's net is vast, but it lets nothing slip through."

In short, this is probably a story about two police officers solving cases together and falling in sweet, sweet love along the way.

1. A plot-driven story with a big setting, but the characters' interactions are fun too.

2. A possessive, upright seme x a gentle, calm uke who wins with his intelligence.

3. Starts slow, then picks up. Modern alternate setting. Enter with caution if you mind flaws in the mystery.

4. Updates on hold.
