The Huo Family's Sweetheart [Reborn]

Lu Tongyu had been rebellious all his life, yet his lifelong partner was someone chosen for him through a business marriage. Resentful, he detested his spouse. For three years of marriage, they slept in separate rooms. At last, Lu Tongyu asked for a divorce and demanded that his partner come back to handle the paperwork with him. On his way home from work, Huo Lang was in a car accident. He died despite efforts to save him. It felt like a joke, so sudden. Everyone urged Lu Tongyu to accept his loss, but it was strange. He had finally escaped Huo Lang completely, so why was he so heartbroken? In a pitiful, heartbreaking realization, Lu Tongyu discovered that over the past three years, Huo Lang had become part of his life. He had loved him deeply without even knowing it. It was only his pride getting in the way. He had thought that because Huo Lang wasn't a lover he had chosen himself, he was a humiliating mark of his surrender to his family. For two years after Huo Lang's death, Lu Tongyu relied on alcohol every day to numb himself. One day, he opened his eyes in a drunken haze and discovered that he had been reborn three years in the past. His father had just chosen Huo Lang as his marriage partner. Overjoyed, Lu Tongyu wept. Heaven had taken pity on him. This time, he would not let Huo Lang down. He would learn to love him properly. Theme: Happiness is created with your own hands.
