Starting Today, We’re Dating

An Ran entered the entertainment industry at eighteen and won Best Actress at twenty-four. After more than a decade in the business, she finally appeared on a reality show for the first time at thirty-four. It was a dating show. And her father would be watching her date from the studio audience. An Ran: Fake smile.jpg So, under the gaze of the entire nation, the national goddess and Best Actress An began her first-ever blind date. But when she arrived, she realized... The guy smiling at her so shyly and sincerely... wasn't he the one who'd been calling her "big sister" for ten years? An Ran (hitting him): Are you fucking kidding me? Do you even know what this show is for? Bai Le: Isn't it so I can date you? An Ran (still hitting him): You know that and you still came? How much did the production crew pay you to mess with me? I don't want people shipping me with some kid brother! Bai Le: Sis... hear me out. What if... I mean, what if I'm serious? What would you choose? An Ran (hitting him even harder): Choose you? In your dreams! You're just a kid brother! [The idea came from the S and Zhang couple on *Daughters' Love*. Celebrity couples with an older woman and younger man really get me.] [This is not meant to allude to real people. The characters' backgrounds and personalities aren't based on real people. Fans, please don't come after me, thanks.] [The show's format is inspired by *Daughters' Love*, where fathers watch their daughters go on dates.] - 1v1, happy ending - I write danmei, and I'm writing this one purely out of love. The characters only worked in a straight romance, so that's why I wrote one. If I make the heroine too manly... you can scold me, just don't be too harsh, thanks. - Short, not serialized for a fee, irregular updates
