Love Between Nonhumans

A series of stories featuring exclusively nonhumans. 1v1, both are each other's first. The one listed first is the gong. Some relationships cross species; others don't. Some can take human form, and others can't. Not in order. I'll write whichever one I feel like first. 1. A domestic, capable, straightforward little spider × a gorgeous, tsundere great phoenix. Little Spider: “Big Butterfly, you're so pretty. Can I take a bite?” He weaves clothes for Big Butterfly and wants to wrap the phoenix up in them every moment of the day. (Xianxia cultivation) Big Phoenix: “So you really do want to eat me.” Little Spider: =V= 2. Little snake × great golden dragon. Little Snake: “Big snake, big snake, why are you so huge?” He coils around the great golden dragon's horns and absolutely worships him. (Xianxia cultivation) Little Snake (wiggling around): “Great golden dragon, great golden dragon, look, I'll coil myself into a bow for you!” Great Golden Dragon (=.=): “Careful, you'll tie yourself into a knot again.” 3. Little white dog × wolf king. The little white dog is mocked as the weakest and most useless in his clan, and everyone says he'll never find a mate. In a huff, he decides to find the prettiest, biggest mate there is! At first sight, he falls for the wolf king, jumps up to kiss him, and shows him his belly. He brings him a leaf, walks him home, then forgets the way back and needs the wolf king to take him home. He trots after the wolf king all day, until the family dog tells him he's making himself too available, and he gets shut inside the house. Lying on the wolf king's belly and listening, the little white dog asks, “Wifey, wifey, why aren't you having babies?” The wolf king says, “...I'm male. I can't.” (Beastfolk) Little White Dog: “Then I'll have your babies!” Wolf King: “Hmm... I suppose that works.” (No pregnancy or childbirth. Don't listen to the puppy's nonsense.) 4. Big white snake × little white mouse. The little white mouse is thrown in as food, but when the big white snake goes to eat him, he bites his own tail instead and thrashes around wildly. Little White Mouse: “??? Hello? I'm over here.” (Modern urban setting) Tourists: “A snake, a snake! A snake and a mouse in the same hole?!” 5. Teacup dog × tough tabby cat with full-sleeve tattoos. Teacup Dog: “I'll steal snacks to feed you!” (Modern urban setting) All the animals: “Shocking! The big boss is moving into his mate's home!” 6. Shy stray orange cat × elegant merle long-haired Border Collie (modern urban setting) Owner: “Little one, you found your own wife, so now you have to take care of her~” [I've changed the premise. If you cuties don't like the current one, feel free to remove it from your collection~ I'm really sorry] Theme: All things have a spirit, and all beings are equal. No species is superior or inferior; every life has the right to love and be loved
